O mais de todos: the e o adjetivo curto com -est (the cheapest, the biggest, the oldest) ou the most e o adjetivo longo (the most expensive). Irregulares: the best, the worst. Da cidade é in the city.
- This is the cheapest restaurant in the city.
- It is the most expensive hotel in São Paulo.
- This is the best coffee in the city. Este é o melhor café da cidade.
- Ana: Which is the biggest park in the city? Lucas: The park next to the bank. Ana: Qual é o maior parque da cidade? Lucas: O parque ao lado do banco.
Cheapest e biggest dizem o extremo de um grupo sem most, e best é a forma irregular de good. Adjetivos longos, como expensive, usam most. Da cidade é in the city, nunca of the city.
Adjetivo curto: the e -est. cheap, the cheapest. big, the biggest. old, the oldest. small, the smallest.
Adjetivo longo: the most. expensive, the most expensive. beautiful, the most beautiful.
Irregulares, os mesmos de sempre: good, better, the best. bad, worse, the worst.
Para dizer de onde é o campeão, in: the best restaurant in the city, the oldest hotel in Lisbon, the biggest park in Brazil.
